Eventful Week Pt. 2

Thursday - My girls took me out for a be-lated birthday dinner at the Yardhouse. It was cool because one of my friends husband knows the GM, so once we sat down all kinds of appetizers came out and restaurant is GREAT they have about 100 kinds of beer on tap.

Friday - JR and I went out to the gay bars out in WeHo. We got our drinks and surveyed the bar, like every other guy there. Stood around, JR introduce me to some of his friends and then I saw them. A few girls that I went to high school with that I still talk to every now and then. So they came over and were in SHOCK and very excited. One of the girls ask me "So are you?" I told her I was, which she said thats great.

So now I need to tell my closes friends before they find out from other sources. Which leads me to tomorrow, I am meeting with one of my closes friend for happy hour, and I am going to tell her the news. Surprising right now I am not nervous and don't really care that they know, I hope that doesn't change tomorrow. I think I am ready to step out of the closet to get some air...haha. Well anyways wish me luck.

Eventful Week

Tuesday - came back from NYC and as soon as I get home, I am welcome with an earthquake. It has been a while since we had one, and this one lasted a little longer than normal. It started with a shake then it rolled from side to side.

Wednesday - my bosses and few other co-workers took me out for a be-lated birthday lunch (I had my birthday in NYC). There were a lot of us, and it was great to talk to everyone out of work. So I was at one end of the table talking with my boss and we got to talking about different restaurants and she recommended one on Melrose she says and I quote "It's down the street from the Abbey, you know where that is right?" So at this point I am pretty sure she knows I'm gay, oh btw she is gay as well. Then we got to talking about my trip to NYC and she ask me what neighborhood and visited, she then ask if I visited Greenwich Village and just to make she knows I'm gay, I also added that I visited HK and Chelsea (other gay NYC neighborhoods). So I am pretty sure at this point she knows I am gay.

Wednesday Night - one of our friend plays in the NHL and since the season is over, he came home for a few weeks before he has to go back to training camp. So we all met up for dinner, something that we have not done in a LONG time, meet up as an entire group that is.

Thursday and Friday to come, to lazy to type anymore and I'm sure you are tired of reading it. A hint of whats to come.....on Friday I was outed.

It Has Been a Long While

Wow, it has been a very long time since I last posted anything on here. I’ve just been SUPER lazy lately…haha. Well I got back from NYC this past Tuesday, and I wanted to give a shout out and a BIG thank you to my boys K and Jay in NYC for showing me around town. I had a GREAT time; it was so much fun checking out all the bars and clubs in NYC. And thank you to Jay for letting me crash at his place for a few days.

My flight is book and ready to go, I am heading to NYC in the end of July. I'm really excited only been there once, for like a day while I was in high school, so that does not really count.

Eventful Saturday

Yesterday was rather eventful. I went to work a little earlier than normal, because I wanted to bake some cheesecakes for one of my closes friends’ housewarming, she just bought a house. It has been EXTREMELY hot here the past few days, so her party didn’t start till late afternoon, but it was still hot. Anyways when I got there put the cheesecakes in the fridge, did my rounds of saying hi to everyone, her and her husbands family. I was chatting with our other close friend in front of the house, we were just catching up on things, she currently has guy problems. And at one point she asked “So what’s new with you, dating anyone?” Of course I gave my usual answer but then thought to myself this is the PERFECT moment to come out to her, because it was just her and I. We continued chatting for a while longer and the whole time I kept on saying to myself this would be the perfect time I should do now, but of course I couldn’t find my balls and didn’t. Oh well next time for SURE, I hope…haha.

We hung out till 11 or so, before I headed home. As soon as I got home JR called me up and ask if I wanted to go WeHo, and since it was warm/hot out still (90 degrees) and I didn’t feel like staying in I headed out. I didn’t know what was up but there were SOOO many people at the Abbey and a lot of them were HOT guys. We hung out there for while talked to some Austrian guys and a pretty hot chick but then decided to go next door to a club/bar called Here and that is where it happened. One of JR friend was there so we were circling around the place looking for him and then I ran into a good friend from college, a girl. A group of us had taken a class in Europe together. So we were pretty close and I am pretty sure she had no idea until she saw me last night. Initially I didn’t want her to see me, but then I told JR and he asked who and I said fuck it, so I went up to say hi and she seemed very excited to see me. So she, JR and I made plans to go out sometime next week, and she was going to invite another friend of ours, girl also, it should be fun, I’m excited.

So yesterday I was VERY close to coming out to one of my closes friend, but I did come out to a good college friend, I think I’m making progress, slowly but surely….lol.

Thought about it

Last Saturday I had a wedding to go too. And that morning I was talking with my mom, she was asking what time was the wedding, what time I was leaving etc. Then she asked what time I was going to start getting ready because I have to shave (I had a very light 5 o'clock shadow that I thought looked pretty good...haha), shower and what not. I said I wasn't going to shave, she was surprise and said "how are you going to get a girlfriend with that hair". At that point I was SOOOO tempted to say it doesn't matter because I don't want a girlfriend. But of course I didn't say anything, just laughed it off and walk away. I think that would have been a good moment to tell her or at least hinted at something, but oh well.

CRAZY weather

What was up with the weather this week? So on Monday and Tuesday it was around 98 - 100 degrees. And this morning it started off fine, kinda cloudy kinda sunny but then around 3 o'clock it all change. Out of no where it started pouring rain and I mean hardcore, it rained so hard so fast that the streets were flooding.

Then when I got home I was SHOCK to see the lawn covered in what looked to be like snow, but it was hail, a good 3 or so inches of it. And in another city 45 minutes away from me there were several tornado's that touch ground, flipping over a train car in the process. Oh and yesterday it was extremely windy. It has been a CRAZY week, weather wise.

Hot Waiters

I don't know what has been going on but the last few times I've gone out to eat, I have encountered some very hot waiters. It all started last Thursday when I took my cousin out for her birthday. We went to a restaurant in Beverly Hills called the Porterhouse Bistro. Not only was the the food GREAT all the waiters that I notice were SOOO hot. I had to be careful not to stare to much, didn't want to get caught by my cousin now...haha

Then this past weekend we went out again to a different restaurant and again the guy taking our order was soooo damn freaking hot. I don't know what it was about this guy but I could not stop staring.

Finally on Monday I went out to lunch with the bosses and a few other co-workers and it happen again, we got a very cute waiter. This guy was so adorable and I don't know if it was just me but I kinda sorta got a vibe from him. I don't know how good my gaydar is but I swore I heard the alarms go off...lol. Throughout our lunch I stole a few glances here and there. He even caught me staring a few times.

I can't wait to go back to these places, great food and best of all GREAT eye candy.

Mini Road Trip

This weekend I am heading out to Las Vegas. One of my cousin's birthday is coming up, so we decided to celebrate it in Vegas. I'm excited, haven't been there in a while and plus I LOVE the outlets.

Getting Nervous

So tomorrow is my big presentation that I have to do, to update other teams on some of the things that we have been working on. I was not to nervous because I have done tons of presentation in COLLEGE, but that was school completely different environment . This is the real world and some of the people tomorrow are VERY educated and will be watching everything I do and say.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention there are going to be around 75 or so people there. Sure I'm not nervous....LOL.

A Gift for Me

Since I have never really buy anything expensive for myself, I figured why not and plus I have been wanting a new watch for a while now so this was the perfect opportunity. I had been doing research online on a watch that is different from the one that I currently have.

I ended up finding a few that I liked, but never had to time to go into the stores to try them on. So a few days ago I finally had some time and after about a few hours of walking around the entire mall and trying on every watch that I found online, I finally made my decision. Of course this is the most expensive item (to wear) that I have ever bought, but whatevers its a one time buy and I'll wear it to work everyday so it's totally worth it.

Thought about it...

Ever since my friends and I graduated college it has been REALLY hard for us to get together, even for a quick dinner. With everyone either going back to school, working or busy with their boyfriends or husbands. On the RARE occasion we do get together it's pretty much playing catch up with everyone's life.

Last Thursday we had one of those rare dinner's, it was just me and my girls (yes, all those who I consider my closest/best friends are all girls...haha). During dinner, I thought to myself this would be the perfect time to come out all of them are right there and I would get it done and over with in one shot.

But then I came to my sense and realize how crazy that would be to come out to all of them at once. First of all I would not be able to handle the pressure with everyone there at the same time and would probably run out of the restaurant like a little bitch...haha jk. Secondly I figure what's the point it really makes no difference if they know or not, I hardly see them and I don't want things to be awkward when we do get together. That's my excuse, for now, and I'm sticking to it.

Good Times

I have nothing to blog about, but I wanted to give a shout out to the boys that were in town last week, K and Troy. It was awesome hanging out and being able to hit up the bars/clubs with a group of guys.

Troy, I had a blast going to see Margaret Cho with you and David. I laugh so much my stomach started to hurt.

K, I never knew the Getty’s (aka Guy-ty) was such a great place to guy watch, never again will I see the Getty’s the same way….LOL

Excited!!!

I forgot to mention this on Sunday, but I am EXTREMELY excited that my alma mater has made it into the NCAA Basketball Tournament for the first time in 30 years. We probably don't have much of a chance to make it pass the first round but it's still exciting to just make the tournament, but I am hoping for a miracle.

We are officially off the market

Seeing how the housing market is so great these days, my parents have decided to take our house off the market and now the house is full once more.

Last year we decided to put the house on the market so my parents figure, to make the house more presentable and easier for buyers, they decided to move in with my aunt, she has an edition added to her house. So my parents, aunt and uncle (who lives with us) cleared out the house and left only my room. Even there I took all the big items over to the new house and just left things that I use/need. That left the entire house all to myself and for a whole year I lived alone, which was GREAT.

So after a few offers, none that we liked, and a year later this past January my parents moved back and now, as of today, my aunt and uncle also moved back. So things are back to the way it was before a full house and I love it don't get me wrong, but boy how I miss living alone....LOL.

A new hottie in town!!!

While reading the sport section of the paper today, I was reminded of the trade that my team (the Angels) made this off season. And now there is another hottie in town who is also a pretty damn good pitcher as well (42 wins the past three seasons, for those who are interested…haha). The new pitcher is Jon Garland.

I was a fan of him when he was with the White Sox, cause he’s a hottie; oh also because he’s good pitcher as well…LOL. But still hottie or not, I’m very excited for this baseball season.

At Work Today

I donated blood today and as those of you who have donated or tried to donate before, knows that you have to fill out questions and one of those question is for male only; asked if you have had sex with another male. So that got me thinking does that mean WHEN I start to having sex with men I can no longer give blood, how fucked up is that and also how awkward would that be if they ask when was the last time you had sex with a man or something like that...lol.

Then later in the day we had a guy, that was SOOO freakin hot, come to present some things (he stetted up a booth and had info) . I could not stop staring he had blond hair, blues eyes, tall, built, just soo hot. And even though he was wearing a shirt and tie (which made him look even hotter) you can tell he works out; he had nice arms, shoulders, pecs etc... I tried my best to look at his name tag and found out his name was Craig, but could not see his last name. I didn't want to stare to much because I know he caught me looking a little to long a few times and gave me a slight smile. (yeah I know wishful thinking...lol) But later I found out that he usually comes once a month so I can't wait for next month.

Just when...

Just when I said I had nothing going on, last night the help did not come in and he didn't let us know in time, so that meant my dad had to stay up all night with no sleep and I tried to help him the best I could. But since my dad was working over night meant my mom had to come in earlier and she would need my help. So I got home from helping my dad at around 1am and I had to be up to help my mom at 6am. I helped her for a few hours then went to my new job.

As soon as I got there my boss told me that my new laptop finally came in so I was excited about that and I was super busy at work as well didn't have much time to sit down and when I did sit down it was for a 3 hour meeting. After I got off that job I went straight back to my parents so my mom can go home and get some rest, she was there all day and have not been feeling well these past few days. So I just got home and realize that between the two jobs, I have worked about 16 hours today. It was a LONG day...haha.

Nothing!!!

I really have nothing blog worthy going on right now. All I do is work then once I get off the new job I go to the old job for a few hours. Nothing exciting to report, sadly 97% of the people that I work with are women, so I have no crushes going on at work, which I guess is a good thing...lol

Last Tuesday Night

Sorry for the delay guys, I've been busy with work and stuff.

Anyways last Tuesday, Chris (a blog reader) was in town so him, JR and myself decided last minute to go to a bar/club called MJ's. We got there around 10:30 and there was a line, can you believe that on a Tuesday night. While waiting in line, there was a guy in front of us that I thought was pretty cute, although JR and Chris had their own opinions...lol. Once we got in, the first thing we notice were the go go dancers on small stages through out the club. That was my first time being that close to male go go dancers. So we got our drinks and made are rounds around the place a few times. And eventually ended up on the dance floor, now this is where it gets interesting.

On the dance floor is where we see the cute guy from the line, so JR and Chris were pushing me to go up to him and dance and/or talk to him. As we slowly made our way towards him, I did not have the balls to go up to him what so ever. So after a few minutes of me not doing anything, but just randomly dancing, we started to leave the dance floor.

As JR and Chris were leaving a guy came up to me and started dancing all up on me, so I was like alright and went with it. Then his friend came and started dancing with us as well, I eventually was sandwich between the two of them. We dance/grind up on each other for a while before the friend in front of me went to dance with another friend and I was left with the one behind me. That is when it started getting a little hot, as we were dancing he took my hand and put it on his crotch. So since my hand was there what is a guy to do but squeeze and rub it, through his pants of course. Then I squeeze his ass for a while, he held my hand for a bit and then took it back to his package. Oh and while all this was going on down there we were still dancing and he was biting my ear and also had his other hand up my shirt. We did that for a while and I eventually turned around so that we were face to face and then it just happened, we started kissing right there on the dance floor, he bit my ear for a little then went back to kissing.

We eventually stopped, he told me his name (David), then told me to wait there while he went to look for his friends, I told him I had to go look for my friends as well and we went our separate way, so that was my first man kiss, didn't think it would happen that way, I at least thought I would know the guys name first but ehh oh well...haha. And that was my Tuesday night, last week, how was your Tuesday night?

It makes the girls go crazy!!!

After I got out of work today I went to the Kenneth Cole store to get their cologne. But I could not decide between the Kenneth Cole Reaction or Kenneth Cole Black. So I ask the sales guy, who was pretty cute, which one does he prefers. And right away he said Kenneth Cole Reaction he said and I quote "It makes the girls go crazy" and went on saying that he has seen ladies go into the store just to smell it. While he was saying this I was thinking to myself; "Is there anything that makes the boys go crazy"...haha. So I ended up getting the Reaction because we all know how much I want the ladies to go crazy around me...lol. But I still like the Black so I will probably end up getting that one as well, I hope that one will make the boys go crazy.

Meeting Cutie

This morning I attended a meeting at work, it had nothing to do with my project, but I went to introduce myself because I will be working with some of these people and also to observe how meetings are run.

So as I expected I was the only guy there but surprisingly a few of the women were around my age, compared to the meeting I had last week where they were all pretty old. Through out the meeting they kept on mentioning another guy about his duties and that he is going to be late for this meeting and what not. Then I thought to myself “alright there is another guy I hope he is cute”…haha but I really like the guys name; Jomari, it was on the hand outs.

Thirty minutes into the meeting in comes Jomari and to my surprise he was pretty cute. Young (early 20’s) Filipino guy, slim with a nice build and sat right across from me. At one point during the meeting we caught eye and he gave me a slight smile with a little nod, since I’m new and he knows everyone else.

I thought it would have been difficult for me to pay attention since I didn’t get home until 3 am and was up by 7 am, but the meeting was pretty interesting and of course it helped that he sat right in front of me…haha

I will post about the events that occurred last night, hopefully by tonight. It wasn’t anything as intense as others…lol (*cough K, Jay cough*), but it was still fun, involved a little kissing and groping…haha

Tired

I am so tired right now. Yesterday morning I was woken up at around 6 am, I had to go into work to help my mom because my dad could not get up, everytime he gets up he would get very dizzy and also said his head feels heavy. This is getting us a little worried because it is very unlike him to get like that. So yesterday afternoon I took him to urgent care and the doctor prescribed him some meds, hopefully they will help. After we got back from the hospital, I went back to work to help my mom with some things so she won’t have to do it, before I headed out for the night.

It was a HORRIBLE night to go out. It started out as a nice beautiful day, the sky was clear the sun was out, then 6 o’clock rolls in and bam clouds minutes later it started raining and didn’t stop for the rest of the night. I’ll post about the night later. But I just wanted to give a shout out to Chris and say sorry that your first experience in LA was so bad, but it was nice to meet you. Hopefully we can hang out one more time before you leave.

So I got home this morning around 4 am and had to be at work at 7 am. We were hoping that my dad would feel better to come into work this morning, but he wasn’t 100% and we didn’t want to take any chances of it getting worst so I said I would come in. That is why I am so tired right now at work; I am going on less than 3 hour sleep. End vent….haha.

Happened Again

Yesterday I went in for a health screening for my new job. I was sitting in the waiting area for my name to be called along with three other women. So the nurse comes out glances at me as she walks by, goes up to the three women and says my name. I had a feeling that was going to happen because I was there before the other ladies, so when I stood up and said thats me, she was shock and gave me a huge smile as though to say you are not what I was expecting...haha.

I wouldn't say my name is distinct, but when people see it; what they are expecting is something very different than what they get...lol. It always makes me laugh to see peoples reactions, and this has happen to me multiple times though out college and especially in a doctor/hospital setting.

I Want a New Labtop

For a while now I have wanted a new lab top. The one I currently have is old, outdated heavy, ugly; the list goes on…haha. So I have been debating between a Dell and a MacBook (I know the answer that many of you will say…lol). But I still can not decide, until today, when I saw this. Now I am leaning a little more towards an Apple but the price is a little steep and I also want to see what it looks like in person first. Hopefully they will have it at the Apple Store. Then I will make my decision.

Finally!!!

Today, I finally got the phone call that I have been waiting for. Last week I had another interview with a company that I had interviewed with before, but this was for a different position and today they called me back and offered me the job. My expected start date is Feb. 4, but they are trying to get me in sooner. I am really excited and a little nervous I hope I can live up and exceed their expectations of me.

One Year Blogiversary

I just realize on this day one year ago I posted for the first time. I can't believe it has already been a year since I started this blog and that I actually kept it up. I can truly say that this blog as changed my life, although I have not made any progress what so ever with the whole coming out deal. I have met (through emails and AIM) and became friends with some awesome guys.

Thank you to all my readers out there, I know my blog is extremely boring so thanks for sticking with me this past year. Hopefully this year will be a little more exciting, but don't hold your breath...lol.
