Happy Hours

One of my friends is home from grad school for a week, so last night a bunch of us went out for happy hour. We went to a hole in the wall restaurant/bar near the campus of USC. For happy hour they have $2 margaritas and the food is pretty cheap and very good. After a few hours of eating and drinking the waiter came with shots of tequila for all 9 of us and to my surprise he said they were on the house, I was like sweet. The bill wasn’t that much, but what surprised us was the number of margaritas we had, between the 9 of us we had 29 margaritas.

One of our friends lives a few blocks away from the restaurant and even though many of us had work the next day, it was still early so we decided to go chill at his place for a while. We got to his place took an Irish car bomb as a group and just hung out catching up with everyone’s life and also sobering up before heading home.

To think all of this happened on a Tuesday night, I kept on thinking that it was a Friday or Saturday night.

If only it was that easy...

Pan's Labyrinth

I have heard alot about this movie. So last night I decided to watch Pan's Labyrinth and it turned out to be a really good movie, I enjoyed it. To bad it was subtitled, it was getting late and I didn't want to read it, but it's a good thing I did.

Worried

Lately I have been thinking how different my life would be if I was out. I’m pretty sure some of my close friends and maybe even a few family members maybe questioning my sexuality, since I have never talked about dating and/or ever having a girlfriend. But I am the type of person who is ALWAYS worried about how other people perceive me. I am always worried how if I do this; what will the person think of me and if I say that; what will they say about me. I know it’s stupid and people are always telling me that I shouldn’t care and I try my hardest not to care about what others think, but I still do. That is why it is EXTREMELY hard for me to image myself ever coming out.

Also the fact that I am an only child, it will be VERY hard for my parents to except the fact that their son will never have a traditional family with a traditional wedding and traditional grandkids. Just the other day I was chatting with my mom and some how the subject of wives came up, and my mom asked me the question that I was dreading hear, it was something along the lines of “how about you have do you have a girlfriend”. I don’t remember exactly what she said because once she asked/said it I just said nope laughed it off and quickly changed the subject. So who knows when and/or if I ever will come out of the closet.

The Ducks won the Western Conference Finals tonight beating the Red Wings 4-3, even with commentators calling them "terrible" in the last game, and now they are going to face Ottawa in the finals for the Stanley Cup. GO DUCKS!!!

Morton's

It was the most EXPENSIVE dinner that I have ever had, but it was GOOOD. We had a three course dinner. Started out with a Cesar salad, it was the best Cesar dressing that I have ever taste, nice and creamy with pieces of cheese in it. Then for the main course I had steak with jumbo shrimp, some of the biggest shrimp I've ever had. And my cousin had steak with jumbo crab cake. Finally, for desert I had a key lime pie and my cousin had a chocolate fudge cake. The total price for this entire dinner with tax and tip was a little over $200.

Birthday Dinner

Every year my cousin and I go to dinner for each others birthday. But we do not go to just any restaurant, we usually go to restaurants that we would not normally go and usually means it's nicer that your average restaurant and fairly pricey.

So tonight I am taking my cousin to dinner at Morton's Steakhouse in Beverly Hills. From what I have heard and the reviews I read Morton's is known for its steak and also its price. It should be interesting and hopefully good.

Interview

I finally got one. Tomorrow I am going in for an interview, even though it is for an on call position at least it is something. I just need some different experience than what I do now. So wish me luck.

Surprise Birthday Party

To night I am going to a surprise birthday party for one of my closest friend. It should be fun, I have never been to an actual surprise party where the person does not know at all. Her husband is going to take her out to dinner and once I get off of work, me and a few other friends are going to take over the house and get it ready. Can't wait to see her reaction.

Old Friend

I just hung up the phone with a friend that I have not talked to in over a year. She had text me earlier and I thought it was a drunk text, since it was SOOO random. Then as I was texting her back she called and it turns out that she was on her way home from work and just wanted to call to catch up.

We were pretty good friends in high school, actually she was my prom date. And after graduation we would talk over the phone every now and then. But as time progress we would talk less and less. It was good talking with her tonite, we had a good hour long conversation catching up with each other's lives.

Angels Game

Just got back from the Angels game. It was fun, even though they lost...sucks ass. But we did have some really good seats. My cousin had won them from work, the seats were club level and at this level there is seat service. You can order food right from your seat and they bring it to you. I have been to Angel Stadium MANY times and I didn't know that they had this service. Very good seats, crappy game that lead to a loss of 1-5.

Ducks Win (a few days ago)

I wasn't in town when they won, but I just wanted to post that my Anaheim Ducks are going to the Western Conference finals for the second straight season....yeah GO DUCKS!!!

Past Few Days

The past few days have been a blast. It all started on Thursday nite. After everyone got out of work we headed to Vegas, which took us about 3 and half hours. Once we got to our room, it was my cousins, girlfriends, cousins, boyfriend’s timeshare, the room was very nice. It was more of a condo because there was 3 bedroom and 2 baths, balcony that over looks a HUGE pool area. After we settled in, we changed freshen up a little we headed to the strip and gambled till about 5 am, the sun was raising as we headed back to the room. I forgot which casino it was at, but at this casino they had an after hours lounge up stairs. And at the entrance of the elevators there were people with guest lists and bouncers. There were two very HOT guys stand there in full suit with blond spike hair. I don’t know if they were they bouncers or the host, but they were sooo DAMN hot. I walked back and forth a few times so I could get a good look at them. There was one time when I happened to look over and one of the guy was itching is balls right there in front of everyone, when I saw that it drove me crazy.

On Friday after about 5 hours of sleep we got up and headed to downtown Las Vegas to grab some lunch, which was good and CHEAP. After lunch we walked around there for a while gambled a bit then headed for the outlets. I didn’t find anything that I like, but I did get a jacket from Kenneth Cole that I had seen and wanted, but the original price was $200 at the normal Kenneth Cole store. But here at the Kenneth Cole outlet it was only 80 bucks, so I got that which made my day. After shopping we headed back to the room to chill and check out the swimming pool and lounge around. That night we got some dinner at a Japanese restaurant, really good food but a bit pricey. And after dinner of course we gambled some more until 4 am went back to the room knocked out for a few hours got up and headed home.

We needed to get home somewhat early on Saturday because it was my cousin’s birthday and we were planning to go out and celebrate it last nite, which we did. We went to Basque Club in Hollywood; it’s a pretty nice club. Behind the bar they had girls dancing behind glass windows and above the dance floor there was a metal cage that had girls rolling around in there. Even though I don’t swing that way I couldn’t help but notice how hot these girls are dancing all sexy behind the glass and rolling around in the cage. My cousin had gotten us a table so we didn’t need to wait in line or pay to get in so that was kool, even though the bottle was 350 bucks. But I guess in the end it breaks even.

So in the end these past few days has been pretty eventful and I had a great time.

Back

Just got back from Vegas a few hours ago. It was fun did lots of stuff stayed up ALL night, but more on Vegas later. Right now I need to figure out what I am going to wear tonight (which I suck at doing), because I am going to a club with my cousin for her birthday. So it should be another fun night, even though I am dead tired.

Vegas Baby

I am excited becuase tonight I am leaving for Vegas. After my cousins and I get off work, which is around 7, we're going to head out. From where I live it takes around 3-4 hours depending on traffic and driving speed. It should be fun I haven't been there in over a year, I can't wait.

We are just gonna chill out there and hit up the outlets, which are great. I don't think we are going to be doin any clubbin becuase we are coming home early Saturday morning. And Saturday nite we are going clubbin for my cousins birthday. So it's gonna be an eventful few days.

Goodbye Chris

I knew it was gonna happen tonight. But for those who don't watch American Idol, one of two reasons why I watched the show went home tonight, Chris Richardson is gone.

Now I only have one reason to watch American Idol and that is for Blake Lewis, and if he goes home American Idol is over for me. Can I just say these two are so damn hot/cute, especially in tonight's episode they look good together. These two needs to release their sex tape already.
